Shop Summer Science & Technology Camp 2010 was lots of fun!..now check out the Mop Top Shop Summer Camp 2011, and don't forget our Track-Out and After-School Programs.
Just take a look at what the Mop Top Shop Campers did in Session I, Photoshop as well as (Sean Coleman, World-wide Car Designer, Lunch at The Carolina Club in Chapel Hill); Session II, Silkscreening; Session III (Dreamweaver) and Fitness, Session IV, (Animation), Fitness; Session V, Let's Build! (Computers, Robots, and Create With Kinex), and Session VI (Crime Scene Investigation).




A special treat for all the kids will be a visit from NC State Graduate student, Sean Coleman, World-wide Contest Winner of the 2010 Shell Eco-Marathon: Autodesk Real World Challenge. At the End-of-Camp Finale, each student will present a final project that incorporates all that they learned during the Mop Top Shop Summer Science & Technology Camp. (See 2009 Summer Camp Projects). Click on the thumbnails to view the Flash animations.

Objectives of the Mop Top Shop Summer Camp:
Students participate in discussions and receive one-on-one feedback as well as friendly and constructive critiques as they learn by sharing and evaluating their work with instructors and fellow campers. Mop Top Campers should bring all of their wonderful ideas, artwork, photographs, creativity and imagination to this exciting camp. Healthy snacks will be provided each day. At the End-of-Camp Finale, parents, families, and friends are all invited to the Mop Top Shop Awards Presentation where campers showcase and share their final web site presentations. "Mop Top" the "Hip Hop" Scientist mascot and special guests are scheduled for the Final Awards Presentation.
