Marc Hannah (1956- ), was born October 13, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. He always enjoyed math and science. In 1982, Hannah and six others founded the company, Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI). SGI is technology company famous for its creativity in computer graphics.
The company SGI, designed the powerful computers used to create the wonderful special effects for television, government agencies, and movies such as Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, Aladdin, The Hunt for Red October, Beauty and the Beast, and Fields of Dreams, just to name a few. Also, different automobiles and airplanes are designed with the SGI computers.
Hannah is the chief technology officer for SongPro, a technology company specializing in making multimedia plug-ins used for listening to music on hand-held video game players and MP3 players you may be listening to on your video game player.
